We're on the hunt for a talented virtual training Producer to join our amazing D&I company which is part of LTG Group. Having evolved from two great companies, this role has been created to ensure we produce amazing content for our clients and support our facilitators and trainers.

You will be an enthusiastic IT person with amazing IT skills, a calm manner and a quick and agile mind, with fantastic communication skills. We don't want much I know but this is a challenging, demanding and multifaceted role which will also be great fun as you are ultimately helping us to change peoples lives. It calls for the ability to manage your own time efficiently, communicate clearly and effectively, focus on a thousand essential details whilst always keeping your eye on the bigger picture of the training sessions which are happening

Please only apply if you have experience in one of the major platforms of Zoom, Webex or MS Teams. Experience in GoTo Meetings and Google Meet would be an advantage but is not essential.

Job description for Producer based in US or UK

The primary purpose of the Virtual Programs Producer is to serve as a “behind the scenes” online training coordinator, assisting the trainer or facilitator by managing the technical and administrative aspects of the training program and addressing any technical issues that arise, allowing the facilitator to effectively train throughout the session with complete confidence that they have technical support if they need it.

The role involves rapid task switching to monitor the technical aspects of a virtual learning event, while keeping an eye on the input and engagement of the participants, in addition to supporting the trainer or facilitator.

The Virtual Producer will log in to each session 30 minutes before its official start time to ensure proper program setup and once introduced by the trainer/facilitator they will normally be muted with video off throughout most of the meeting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as session host, and managing and transferring host/co-host assignments as needed
  • Loading slides and ensuring that videos will play if required
  • Taking and monitoring attendance if required
  • Ensuring all attendees are properly identified by name on their screens if necessary
  • Merging video/audio for phone-in attendees
  • Monitoring chat, and providing technical assistance to attendees as needed via private chat
  • Setting up and managing polls as requested by the trainer or facilitator
  • Creating breakout rooms, assigning attendees to rooms, and managing breakout room timing
  • Managing recording of the meeting

Managing meeting security:

  • Monitoring attendance for uninvited/unauthorised attendees
  • Ensuring that screen sharing is enabled or disabled as requested by the trainer or facilitator
  • Ensuring that annotation is enabled or disabled as needed or as requested by the trainer or facilitator
  • Assisting the trainer or facilitator as requested. (This could include having a backup copy of the presentation available, providing attendees with relevant links or other info, saving copies of annotation sessions, etc)
