We are looking for a Senior Business Director who understands the learning industry and can optimise sales growth, taking advantage of market, industry and economic opportunities. The goal of this role is to accelerate growth in both Accounts & New Business to achieve sustainable business growth.

The Senior Business Director will work closely with the Global New Business team and Account Teams, to grow high potential accounts to their growth potential. The ultimate goal is to build the EMEA sales pipeline, to exceed an aggressive growth target and create a sustainable operative outlook and predictable revenue for the future.

In your first 12 months your focus will be

  • Capitalise on your existing network - generate & lead large strategic sales, leverage our lead generation team, and win opportunities with new clients that meet our ICP.

  • Strategic Account Management - develop & execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets. Work closely with production to improve customer satisfaction & loyalty. Drive innovation & thought leadership into our accounts by providing research & insights.

  • Build strong client relationships – getting out there and meeting clients, attending pitches, and going native to encourage better understanding and improved relationships.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years progressive experience in learning technologies.
  • At least 10 years in consultative sales.
  • Data driven, systems thinker who can generate and execute ideas at strategic and tactical levels
  • Thrives in a fast‐paced environment - getting hands on and practical.
  • Instinctive collaborator with strong solution sales experience who values teamwork and the input of others
  • Creative visionary with a passion for learning and professional development and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand the big picture
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of learning technologies.
  • Experience with contract negotiations, contracts, standards and processes.
