We are looking for a Snr. Business Development Manager who understands the learning industry and can optimise sales growth, taking advantage of market, industry and economic opportunities. The goal of this BDR is to achieve sustainable business growth.
The Snr. BRD will work closely with the Global New Business team and the wider LEO management team, to target new logo accounts with high growth potential. The ultimate goal is to build the EMEA sales pipeline, to exceed an aggressive growth target and create a sustainable operative outlook and predictable revenue for the future.
In your first 12 months your focus will be
- New Business – generate & lead large strategic sales. Capitalise on your existing network, leverage our lead generation team, and win opportunities with new clients that meet our ICP.
- Focus on growth - build our LEO pipeline with new clients. Generate new opportunities though outbound, social media & event activities. Hit the ground running within the first three months – coming with ideas on how to progress new and substantial leads into the current pipeline.
- Build strong client relationships – getting out there and meeting clients, attending pitches, and going native to encourage better understanding and improved relationships.
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years progressive experience in learning technologies.
- At least 5 years in consultative sales.
- Data driven, systems thinker who can generate and execute ideas at strategic and tactical levels
- Thrives in a fast‐paced environment - getting hands on and practical.
- Instinctive collaborator with strong solution sales experience who values teamwork and the input of others
- Creative visionary with a passion for learning and professional development and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand the big picture
- Strong computer skills and understanding of learning technologies.
- Experience with contract negotiations, contracts, standards and processes.
