We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Generation Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the lead generation development activities and nurture outbound sales lead campaigns. In this role, you will work directly with Marketing and Sales Teams to create engaging outbound campaigns/sequences, build prospect lists, and utilize networking to assist in generating interest in our products and solutions. This position is critical to the team's success in creating, implementing, and reinforcing lead generation discipline.

Primary responsibilities in this position will include, proactive prospecting via email and phone calls, providing relevant content to generate engagement, scheduling meetings and demos for the sales team.

As the first line of communication with prospects, an ideal Lead Generation Specialists will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. The right candidate is highly motivated, fun to work with, innovative and likes the sales environment. It is important to have excellent communication skills, be organized, be able to understand our solutions and process quickly, and be a team player.

Reporting to: Head of Business Development and VP, Sales

e. Central Services Bid Team

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Outbound prospecting via contact engagement activities (calls and emails)
  • Develop new contacts through Account Based Research (ABR) via, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other databases
  • Initiate sales process by qualifying leads and validating solution fit
  • Providing customer service by providing product documentation and solution description details
  • Initiate lead/demand generation strategies that include outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives with personal messaging via LinkedIn,, and WeConnect
  • Work collaboratively with sales team to develop targeted prospect lists, develop regular email campaigns & strategies designed to assist achieving the team sales targets
  • In conjunction with sales team, create a reactivation strategy across inactive accounts
  • Effectively communicate and present the Affirmity solution and value proposition to customers/prospects
  • Conduct follow up activities on all marketing generated leads from webcasts, tradeshows and other events.
  • Update SalesForce with new leads, contact information and qualifying questions
  • Report to leadership with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Skills and Experience:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or 2-3 year equivalent sales experience
  • Knowledge of computer software systems including Google Drive, Google Documents, Google Sheets, MS Office
  • Experience with Salesforce, WeConnect, and/or (or similar client engagement software)
  • Understanding of Diversity, Inclusion, and Workforce Compliance Regulations (EEO & Affirmative Action)
