Position Summary:

This exciting new position for Affirmity will support the global launch of our new Diversity & Inclusion Solutions software and services.

This role will be tasked with creating and expanding our Diversity and Inclusion offerings for the US & Global Marketplace.

This position will be the primary driver and overall designer of our D&I software offering as well as developing associated consulting offerings. The position will require knowledge and competence in the D&I space to be able to act as the subject matter expert on the D&I solutions to function as the product manager and advocate of the software and consulting solutions.

This is an ideal role for a candidate who is experienced with or has passion about launching technology products in the diversity and inclusion space.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Expand the current Diversity and Inclusion product and services strategy; build and maintain the Affirmity Diversity and Inclusion Business Plan and product roadmap
  • Expand the Affirmity diversity offerings footprint in the marketplace, both USA & Global via direct sales & partnerships
  • Lead the Product Management Vision for:
    • Current Service Offerings to Clients/New Marketplace (Diversity Insights)
      • Expand on Current Benchmark Solution, move beyond single benchmark and Diversity Insights
    • New Service & Software Direction & Offerings
      • Guide internal development of new products as a subject matter expert by translating client needs into product specifications:
        • Diversity & Inclusion new software product to be built in 2023
        • Diversity and Inclusion Consulting Services
      • Works with Affirmity’s Partner Manager to Guide Partnership Direction for additional partners for Affirmity in the Diversity and Inclusion space
      • Be part of the Product Management team who will remain responsible for the actual software product designs and delivery
  • Assist in developing a Marketing Plan for Diversity Solutions with Affirmity Marketing team
  • Guide Sales Strategy by partnering with the Sales Team to identify market need, pricing, and building sales tools. Train the sales team on the market, our offerings, and how to engage in a Diversity sale.
  • Guide Professional Services Strategy by partnering with the Consulting Teams to identify client needs, and build service offerings. Train the Services team on the market, our offerings, and how to engage in a Diversity client engagement
  • Champion the product/solutions internally to other LTG Companies by working with the Affirmity Partner Manager, as well as to internal Affirmity Staff
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the specific solutions and serve as the voice of the customer

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the D&I field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a product manager
  • A strong track record of being part of a team in a fast paced multifaceted environment
  • Self-motivated, positive and dynamic approach to roles and responsibilities
  • Solid high-end client relations experience
  • Polished public speaker capable of representing the Affirmity brand at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and in client engagements

Experience that would be a plus in our interviewing process

  • Experience with working directly with clients on D&I initiatives
  • Experience with diversity metrics or diversity benchmarking
