LEO Learning is a global leader in the creation of digital learning and partners with some of the world’s top brands.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Designer who can use their high level of expertise to creatively apply an Art Director’s vision across a range of digital projects.

You will be responsible for producing dynamic graphics, exporting assets for development, and applying client brand standards to e-learning content.

You should feel comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and be ready to collaborate with colleagues in both content and technical development. You’ll be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud and have an excellent understanding of web formats. You have strong skills in image manipulation, vector illustration, and typography. You understand the importance of brand consistency and how UX and UI design is essential to every great digital experience.

A few more details on what this role involves:

  • Creating and exporting artwork for a range of digital platforms (cropping and re-touching photography, vector illustration, and designing diagrams)
  • Creating pdfs and occasionally print materials for blended learning programs
  • Sourcing media from stock libraries/client brand sites
  • Preparing graphical templates using XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Building and styling prototypes
  • Preparing graphical elements for development
  • Developing content using authoring tools such as Gomo, Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate
  • Ensuring technical and accessibility requirements are met
  • Following metrics set out by the Art Director and Visual Design Manager
  • Communicating with Project Managers about project progress

Skills and knowledge

  • High creative flair
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong handle on typography, illustration, layout, and space
  • Good understanding of digital UI and UX
  • Good understanding and application of brand/style guidelines
  • Professional, dynamic and positive attitude
  • Keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
  • Solid time-keeping skills
  • Ability to work in a team or on own initiative
  • Good standard of spelling and grammar
  • Good understanding of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Commercial awareness

Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience

We are currently working remotely but we will eventually move to a hybrid system involving at least 2 days per week in one of our offices.
