Working with the Content Quality Manager and a dynamic team, you will be both the first and last line of defense for quality. You will work across LEO supporting our project managers, learning designers, digital designers and developers to deliver high-quality learning content that exceeds our clients’ expectations.

You will work with both written and visual content to identify issues and make practical recommendations to your colleagues to ensure our learning experiences are clear, consistent and accessible. To do this, you will need to have strong MS Office and computer skills. Experience of using a content management system like WordPress, and the ability to create a style sheet (or a task of a similar complexity) in Microsoft Word, will be an advantage.

You will also create different types of documents using existing content to support our clients’ needs that are of a high-quality, client-facing standard. Please note that this is not a content writer’s job.

This role is an entry-level position perfect for a detailed-oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role goes beyond proofreading and will offer a range of interesting tasks across changing content.


  • Proofread documents and interactive learning products
  • Check that clients’ requests have been made correctly, looking for knock-on impact of changes
  • Create accessible documents using existing content to support learners with disabilities
  • Create screenshot documents of an existing course to support learners
  • Create answer keys using existing content to support learners, and both internal and external testers
  • Check through courses in different languages to ensure they match the original English course, looking out for missing text and text that hasn’t been translated
  • Learn how to amend course content using our in-house tools
  • Peer review your work after completing each task
  • Ensure all client deliverables are of a high standard of quality

Skill and experience requirements

  • You have meaningful experience proofreading and have the ability to proofread in UK, US and Canadian English
  • You have great attention to detail, even when producing lengthy documents
  • You have great time management skills
  • You have the ability to maintain focus and quality under pressure and tight deadlines
  • You are a multitasker
  • You are a strong communicator
  • You have strong and provable MS Office, Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat skills
  • You’ll be comfortable and proficient using Windows on your laptop with a range of peripherals
  • You have the ability to work well in a team
