As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you are product and solution expert partnering with the Sales team to ensure the best possible solution is presented to customers and prospects. Talent Management Consultants support our sales teams in a complex sales environment engaging in various presales activities including needs analysis, solution development, product demonstrations, business case and financial justifications, executive presentations, proposal responses, and overall collaboration on the selling process with the sales team to ensure that the offering meet all customer requirements. You have a major impact on our future success by supporting  Solution Sales. You will support one of our  products within the Talent Management Solution (Performance, Succession, Compensation, Learning Management)  as a  and partner with  a Sales Executive and Customer Success Manager. This is a hands-on technical consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide detailed product-specific solution demonstrations during sales cycles.

  • Develop and maintain deep product knowledge which you leverage when solving our customers’ business challenges
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  • Create proof of concepts that align to the prospect or customer’s challenges.
  • Act as “Trusted Advisors” to our customers, our sales team, and our internal cross-functional groups
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from prospects, customers and channel partners
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 3+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in (Performance, Succession, Compensation, Learning, Analytics areas)
  • Experience working with the Human Resource Technology industry preferred
  • Proficiency with the Reflektive, Peoplefluent, or Bridge platform or technical expertise with cloud HCM software solutions
  • Comfortable and confident in public speaking settings.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, professional services, and customer support.
  • Working with Sales counterparts to guide execution excellence
  • Travel as necessary
