We're on the hunt for a talented Learning & Development Manager to join us during a particularly exciting time! This position can either be based at any of our UK offices in London, Brighton or Sheffield or be remote working.

Partnering with the senior leaders of the organisation this is a fairly autonomous role where you will be the main architect of the strategy with the support of the Learning and Development and HR teams. This is a new role and a fantastic opportunity to establish a brand-new programme of learning for a 5000 strong growing international organisation.

The majority of this role can be based at home with occasional office visits to engage with stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of the learning and development strategy, ensuring that LTG has impactful learning programmes through e-learning, coaching and blended approaches that fit the needs of the organisation
  • Management of the Learning and Development budget and an ability to find efficiencies without compromising on the quality of learning
  • Building relationships with internal training companies to ensure that we are learning from the best
  • Stakeholder partnership working closely with MDs & HRBPs function in relation to Learning & Development needs and learning outcomes
  • Leading the team to deliver programmes of learning to support a range of learning interventions built around a great learner experience, including onboarding, mandatory, technical, behavioural and core leadership skills
  • Overall responsibility for the Apprenticeship Levy promotion and usage
  • Ensuring accurate records are in place for both professional and regulatory learning

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a similar environment incorporating design and delivery of remote based training
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders in order to best represent the value of L&D to the business
  • Coaches, educates and supports business leaders on L&D activities and projects that ensure the best commercial solutions are determined
  • Previous experience of designing and delivering Leadership Development to a global and dispersed set of employees
  • Technology or LMS/Moodle based learning industry experience would be highly desirable as would being a practitioner in psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery
