As the Group Reporting Accountant, reporting to the Senior Group Reporting Manager, you will work on:

  • Converting a newly acquired business from accounting under US GAAP to IFRS at acquisition and year-end and implement processes and training required to report in IFRS on a go-forward basis
  • Completing the acquisition accounting of the newly acquired business including including the completion balance sheet under IFRS 3
  • Creating a mapping from the newly acquired business’ accounts to the LTG Group’s
  • Assisting in the preparation of the Group’s Annual Report and source information required for disclosure
  • Working with the newly acquired business’ finance team on integrating to Group monthly reporting requirements
  • Preparing group consolidated management accounts
  • Ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) with 3+ years PQE in a technical Group Reporting role
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills; competent and efficient at dealing with data from different sources
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen

The role will be primarily based in London but may require some travel to other offices in the UK and abroad if and when appropriate to do so.
