We are currently looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure or Security Engineer to be based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the hands-on, security focused Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for optimising and securing global infrastructure. You will work alongside a wider team across the globe providing support for desktops, servers, Active Directory, Google Workplace, Azure, VPN and other network infrastructure.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining Active Directory, Servers (Windows and Linux), storage and network infrastructure
- Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
- Monitor security access, security events and respond to alerts
- Responsible for the continuous monitoring, configuration, and development of security systems and technologies that protect LTG assets
- Perform regular audits and produce reports and action plans.
- Creation and modification of reports, dashboards and alerts
Required Skills & Experience
- Understanding of key industry principles (least privilege and layered defence)
- Support and experience managing Windows and Linux servers, as well as Hypervisors
- Previous experience with scripting languages (powershell, python)
- Hands-on experience managing firewalls and switches
- Professional certifications (Microsoft / Cisco / CEH / SANS, ISC) is a bonus
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), Networking: DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
