We are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join us for an initial 12-month contract.

As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will work with the IT leadership team and others across the organisation to ensure an excellent procurement service is delivered that balances the needs of our people, the available resources and the return on investment.

You will be responsible for contract management including renewals, gathering requirements and understanding historical spend and background information.

The ideal candidate will have an IT procurement background, broad technical experience combined with strong analytical, numeracy and communication skills.

This role will report directly to the current global IT leader.


  • Discover, analyse, compile and report on contractual and expense detail for acquisitions and mergers.
  • Interrogate the rationale and right-sizing of existing and new contracts and spend.
  • Support contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate, including strong negotiation.
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships by liaising with them for contractual matters.
  • Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Review existing and establish new procurement policies, processes, documentation and training.
  • Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution.
  • Monitor contract budget performance in line with contract requirements and provide financial information for reporting purposes.
  • To identify and escalate contract risks in a timely manner and maintain a project portfolio risk register.
