LTG are looking for a talented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Raleigh.

The accounts payable clerk is primarily responsible for the administration of accurate accounts payable records in adherence to tight timelines, accurate records and appropriate communications to keep stakeholders informed.


Primary Duties:

  • Administer the invoice posting process
    • o Match purchase orders to invoices
    • o Enter invoices into accounting system within 3 days of receipt
    • o Code invoices to proper accounts and cost centers
    • o Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
    • o Route invoices for payment approval
    • o Review invoices for appropriate documentation and adherence to Company polices


    Requirements:

    • • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
    • • Minimum 1- 2 years of experience
    • • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
    • • Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and re-prioritize as needed Software industry and related professional services experience a plus
    • • Initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity coupled with strong analytical skills are a must.
    • • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
    • • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills – including the ability to turn data quickly into information (pivot tables, graphs, charts etc) that is in a usable format for decision-making
    • • Strong customer services skills and responsiveness to questions
    • • Strong communication skills and the ability to produce information for presentation to senior level executives in a clear and concise manner
    • • NetSuite ERP experience preferred.
    • • Experience getting high quality work done with the ability to take on more work to provide added value
    • • Ability to maintain highly confidential information and protect employee and company confidential information
    • Communicate with internal customers to provide updates, resolve discrepancies and follow-up on open items
    • Work with business leaders to resolve purchase order issues
    • Provide timely responses to internal inquiries via the AP email address
    • Provide information to business leaders regarding PO status Alert to expiring POs
    • Advise on PO coding
